EILO Saunas and Infrared_english version - Flipbook - Seite 43
Infrared cabins even have similar health benefits to Finnish saunas, although temperatures here are comparatively low at 55 to 65°C.
This makes them a gentle alternative, especially for older people. According to reports, studies have shown almost twice as much
perspiration and three times as much elimination of body toxins and waste products as in a conventional sauna.

visible
Infrared radiation is part of the electromagnetic spectrum. It includes electromagnetic waves with wavelengths between
about one and one thousandth of a millimetre. Even though the rays lie outside the visible spectrum, the nerves in our skin
perceive them as heat. However, infrared radiation should not be confused with, harmful UV radiation.
