Slow-growing, resistant wood from inhospitable Nordic
regions is the ideal material for stable, robust sauna
constructions with RORO quality.
We attach great importance to well-seasoned, warp-free and
lowstress wood qualities. We do not use any materials for the
range of saunas presented here other than untreated, natural
wood. That means no cheap fibreboard or chipboard at all, not
even hidden on the top of the roof.
Nordic/Finnish spruce* for the sauna construction
Low-resin, fine-grained wood; very stable, light yellowish-white
colour, lively structure
Aspen* for interior design
Domestic softwood of the fast-growing aspen, straight and solid,
non-resinous, easy to install due to high knot spacing, loungers
and backrests are naturally splinter-free and hardly absorb any
heat.
In general, wood ensures optimum air exchange while at the
same time effectively storing and regulating heat.
